The Story Behind the Moonlit Cabin Tee
The concept behind the Moonlit Cabin tee was inspired from a family trip taken back in the winter of 2016 to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The week was filled with lots of incredible skiing, amazing views, and great food at local restaurants within the ski town.

Now the real inspiration for this design happened when we decided to explore the famous More Barn (pictured below) one afternoon. The old rustic barn built in 1926 and named after Jerry More, who owned the property for many years, gives off such an outdoorsy vibe that we could not get enough of. It represents the charm of the Old West paired against the new Steamboat Springs Ski Area.
Years later when brainstorming shirt designs we knew that we had to include this concept, by combining the seclusion of a cabin alone in the mountains, with the calming silence of a nice starry night in the Rockies. Below you can see the design process for this best selling shirt, starting with the photo of More Barn, followed by a rough design sketch, and finishing with the final product. I hope you enjoyed learning the full story behind this shirt design. If you don’t currently own the Moonlit Cabin Tee, be sure to check it out and make it yours by clicking here.
